14-Apr-2026
Why does sexual desire often change in long-term relationships, and what can men do to better understand and manage these shifts?
This confidential session for YPOers and spouse partners offers a science-based overview of how desire develops over time in committed relationships.
Designed as a men-only environment, the program fosters honest conversations about intimacy, relationship dynamics, and the pressures many men face when initiating and maintaining connections with their partners.
The session will begin with a presentation by Anna Kelberg, who will explore the neuroscience and psychology behind desire in long-term partnerships. Drawing on clinical research and her Intentional Dating framework, Dr. Kelberg will explain common patterns couples experience, including mismatched libido, changing desire over time, and the effects of stress and life stages on intimacy.
After the presentation, YPOers will move into an open Q&A focusing on men’s perspectives and experiences.
To promote candid dialogue, the Q&A portion will not be recorded, ensuring a safe and confidential environment for discussion.
By attending this session, you will:
• Address the questions and challenges men face in relationships.
• Learn why mismatched libido and shifting intimacy dynamics happen.
• Gain clarity on how sexual desire naturally evolves in longer relationships.
• Explore research-based strategies to approach intimacy and connection.
Deepen your understanding of intimacy in long-term relationships.
