The need for mental health care is far greater than the supply of affordable and effective solutions. The private sector can and should play a role in increasing the supply of solutions and innovations that will deliver support to those in need. This is why People Action Network, Healthcare Business Network and Y3i are collaborating to bring you the virtual series, Innovation and Investment in Mental Health. The first event in the series, is a fireside chat with Stephen Hays, Founder and CEO of WhatIf Ventures, a VC firm focused on radically changing the human experience by helping amazing founders build solutions for our mental health. Joining him is Dr. Tom Insel, an American Neuroscientist, psychiatrist, entrepreneur and author who led the National Institute of Mental Health from 2002 until November 2015. Members can expect an overview of the mental health sector, with a focus on how investors and entrepreneurs can help increase the supply of affordable, accessible and effective care to all. Please listen to the following segment of Stephen's mental health podcast, Stigma, with Dr. Tom Insel prior to attending the event:https://bit.ly/3t0E9xd
