Heather Conley is the President of the German Marshall Fund, the leading transatlantic think tank. She previously was the Executive Vice President for the Europe, Russia and the Eurasia Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). She developed the acclaimed Kremlin Playbook series, a dedicated research effort that examined the doctrine and methodology of Russian economic activities and its methodology across Europe.
Alexander “Sasha” Gabuev, Director of the Russia Eurasia Center of the Carnegie Endowment, formerly the Carnegie Moscow Center which the Kremlin closed in 2022 after three decades of operation. He is considered one of the leading experts on Russia foreign policy and the Ukraine War and was previously a diplomatic reporter and editor to the Russian news group Kommersant. He is regularly on BBC and European Media.
