Ages and Stages-Building Resilience in our Children
13m
The third event in the YPO-Boston Children’s Hospital series will take an ages and stages approach. After a brief panel discussion, attendees will join breakout rooms bucketed by life stage. Experts will focus on critical questions at each stage and provide helpful strategies to support and enhance resiliency.
In the pre-K/early childhood room, a Boston Children’s psychologist will answer questions about key concerns that often emerge at these ages, including social skills and friendships, reading development, anxiety and screen time.
In the pre-teen and tween room, a Boston Children’s psychologist will answer questions about key concerns that often emerge at these ages, including reading and learning difficulties, anxiety, bullying and screen time.
In the teen room, a Boston Children’s adolescent medicine expert will answer questions about key concerns that often emerge in adolescence, including body image, sports injuries, eating disorders, bullying and social media use.
Parents will have ample time to ask questions, and there will be an opportunity to pre-submit anonymous questions prior to the event.
You’ll walk away with actionable strategies to build strength and resilience in you and your children.
