The Future Workforce - Technology And Its Effects On The Construction Industry
52m
At this informative virtual roundtable, learn more about the future of work in the construction industry and what role technology will play in that future. The session will open with three 15-minute presentations, each focusing on a different topic:
1) Steve Muck (YPO Gold Pittsburgh), Co-founder of Advanced Construction Robotics (ACR), will discuss current uses of on-site robotics and share what the future of robotics in construction could look like. 2) Dana Erdman, Director of Technology and Innovation at Bulley & Andrews, will talk about the problem of labor shortages in construction, the solutions offered by technology and how tech will affect workers of the future. 3) Dori Raveh, VP of Marketing of Buildots, will explain how his company leverages AI and machine learning to reduce risk and increase efficiency, and discuss how the industry can use this technology going forward. After each speaker gives an overview, participants can attend a moderated breakout session on the topic of their choice. There they can deepen learning and network with other YPOers.
Feel informed and challenged with new information on the current conditions surrounding labor shortages; the impact of machine learning and AI on construction projects; and how advanced robotics can improve safety and productivity.
Have an opportunity to connect with peers and ask questions during moderated breakout sessions.
Hear directly from industry leaders about the challenges currently affecting project delivery and the solutions that are now possible with new technologies.
