Sexual Desire in Long-Term Relationships: A Conversation for Women
22-Apr-2026
How does sexual desire change over time, and how can women better understand and influence it within long-term relationships?
This confidential session for YPO spouses and partners explores the science behind desire and its evolution in committed relationships.
Designed as a women-only space, the program creates an open and supportive environment where YPOers can explore the psychology of desire, relationship dynamics, and practical strategies for strengthening intimacy and connection.
The session will start with a brief presentation by Anna Kelberg, who will explain the neuroscience and psychology of desire in long-term partnerships.
Drawing on clinical research and her Intentional Dating framework, Dr. Kelberg will discuss why desire often shifts over time, how common patterns such as mismatched libido develop, and what couples can do to actively cultivate connection and attraction.
After the presentation, the conversation will open into an interactive Q&A where YPOers can explore real questions about communication, intimacy, and the factors influencing desire and emotional closeness. To ensure a candid and comfortable discussion, the Q&A segment will not be recorded, encouraging participants to speak freely.
