Overcoming Adversity To Find Your Purpose
1h 0m
Brandon Farbstein wasn't the typical kid. Born with a rare form of dwarfism, his childhood was plagued by bullying and deep depression. He struggled with feeling invisible and purposeless until an opportunity to give a Ted talk helped him find meaning in his life. Standing at 3'9" at the age of 21, Brandon now towers over his limitations to help change the lens through which people see their world.
Join Brandon and his mother, Sylvia, for an empowering discussion on how to find purpose through pain and adversity. Sylvia will share her experience navigating unknown territory and speak to her feelings of isolation. Neither parent nor child allowed themselves to be defined by the limitations and obstacles. This story of overcoming adversity will give you a whole new perspective on resilience, inclusivity and empathy.
