Mark Hamill (YPO UK Regional) recognized that YPO members needed to unite as they embarked on career transitions. Through the Great People – Great Positions Connect Group that Mark champions, he calls out to members interested in connecting with others on a transition journey. The group quickly grew to over 100 participants. Mark dedicated his time and energy to developing this group and listening to individual stories and offering support where possible.
YPO is building on what Mark created through a new community called YPO Career Transitions, a community where members navigating a transition can connect with other members in a similar life stage. The aim is to support members through uncertainties, build relationships with their YPO peers who have transitioned and can share their experience, and provide resources and tools to everyone on this journey. Mark's efforts and leadership is greatly appreciated.
