Join us in an 'only in YPO' conversation with Sonny Kalsi, who embarked on an entrepreneurial journey after almost 2 decades at Morgan Stanley where he served as Global Head of Real Estate Investing. From the ashes of the GFC in 2010 Sonny and his partners set out to build a new global firm, which was no easy task in a greatly shrunken market dominated by a handful of massive multinational corporations. He helped to create a culture for others to leave risk-averse bureaucratic corporations for a more dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. Through his challenging path, Sonny and his team built a world class firm now known as BGO, with an AUM of $83BN and 27 offices around the world. As the proud father of two children, Sonny believes strongly in encouraging youth to live their lives fully, and to reach newer and greater heights.
