This session will cover a topic that multiple YPO and Tiger21 groups have enjoyed. Join Dr. Mark Bell, as he discusses Art as an Asset Class. In addition to the work, he has done on this topic over the past 15 years at Emory University, Mark is a Partner and Head of Private Capital Business Advisory at Balentine. He brings two decades of investing and leadership experience to this role.
Through building a proprietary database and taking a data driven approach, we have been able to answer some questions about how and why to own art. There are also implications for other collectables and other “alternative to alternative assets.”
Members who attend will be in good company as this talk has been well received in both academic and professional circles. Versions have also been given at the Vatican as well as some of the largest single-family offices in the country.
