Pam Sherman’s interactive talk, The Power of Story, invites participants to explore the art and impact of storytelling—how a story, shared authentically, can help bridge the "believability gap" between what we think and what others see.
In an engaging and practical program, Pam offers a framework called EDGE: Explore, Dream, Grow, and Excite®, guiding attendees through the essential steps to create and present their own stories with clarity, emotion, and confidence. Through interactive exercises and hands-on exploration, this program will help participants identify their unique narratives and articulate them with purpose.
Pam will dive into techniques for understanding both oneself and one’s audience, bringing to light the power of story thinking (developing a story from multiple perspectives) and story-sharing (delivering a story in a way that deeply connects).
The skills gained will serve individuals not only in professional and leadership roles but also in their personal lives, where effective storytelling can drive empathy, understanding, and growth. Participants will leave with a new sense of storytelling as a bridge to deeper relationships, renewed self-belief, and a way to inspire others.
