Join us for a virtual event with Brian Bond, CEO of PFLAG National, the nation's largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
Brian will start by providing a landscape assessment of LGBTQ+ community in the United States and engage with a few examples on how attendees can take action to support their family members, their employees or themselves. Brian will also share some resources and organizations that are available to support them as needed. Lastly, we will open the floor to other PFLAG members to share examples on how they have been taking action to support the community.
The intended audience is Parents of LGBTQ+ individuals, LGBTQ+ individuals, Parents and Allies.
The LGBTQIA2+ subnetwork of YPO’s Parenting Community provides support through forum for families with LGBTQIA2+ members, fosters a welcoming and educational environment where parents can share experiences, resources, and best practices. LGBTQIA2+ subnetwork aims to help the broader Parenting Community build tools and share knowledge to create loving, supportive spaces for all families.
