In this episode Dr. Anjhula Mya Singh Bais speaks to psychologist Silja Litvin about how parents can better inform themselves and understand the reality of their children’s online worlds, with a specific focus on the need to maintain strong and positive mental health while accepting that social media is here to stay, engage with it, and embracing our ‘online selves’. Techstars Berlin 2019 Alumni Silja Litvin, CEO and founder of PsycApps, Ph.D. candidate at Ludwig Maximilian University and honorary Research Associate at UCL in London, is a clinical psychologist with years of experience providing counseling and therapy, including in the NHS NELFT mood and eating disorder division. Silja has multiple articles published in peer-reviewed journals and two evidence-based mobile mental health applications making her one of the UK’s leaders in mobile mental health. Points of Clarity:
