Health-Ade is a kombucha company based in Los Angeles whose products are sold in over 26,000 stores nationwide. Daina previously worked in pharmaceuticals and nutrition. The global kombucha market size was estimated at $1.67 billion in 2019 and roughly $2.02 billion in 2020. "Health-Ade has evolved in how it makes kombucha - and part of that evolution is investing a lot more in science," says Daina. "I look at it as a continuous improvement process: where can we do better this year than we did last year? Let's push ourselves a bit!"
