It is a sobering fact that our current cancer screening interventions assess for cancers that only account for 1/4th of those that people ultimately die from. But what if there was a way to increase early detection processes?
Join us for an informative session on multi-cancer early detection (MCED) blood tests for detecting cancer. These blood tests detect fragments of cancer DNA and other cancer byproducts in the bloodstream. With machine learning/artificial intelligence algorithms, we can find evidence of cancer in the body before any clinical symptoms. Some of these are already on the market, though not FDA-approved. This talk will give an overview of the current state and future potential of this very powerful technology.
What you will take away from this event:
A breakdown of multi-cancer early detection tests.
Knowledge surrounds the current state of the technology.
Awareness of the future potential that this technology provides.
The future of MCEDs is now.
