A decade may not seem long in terms of the geopolitical stage, however, for the Middle East, it has been enough time for a dramatic shift in the area. With a new generation rising to power, alliances are evolving, new opportunities are uncovering new challenges including how to navigate these changes while still honoring a rich and complex history.
The region, led by the UAE and Saudi Arabia, is being shifted into the 21st century with an emphasis on greater freedoms, business opportunities, and innovation. Global investments in the area have shifted beyond oil however, political tensions have made engaging difficult.
