Right now, there are more than two dozen armed conflicts occurring in the world. How do political leaders work to end such conflicts, inspire people to unite and create healing? And how can YPO members help end conflicts in their own regions? In this live session, former Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos will shine a light on the 2016 Colombian peace process and explain why the work of his organization, Fundacion Compaz, was so critical to solidifying real, grassroots peacemaking after the treaty was signed. Find out how these strategies can be used as a blueprint for conflict resolution in other parts of the world. And discover how you can get involved in such an initiative. YPO Gold Colombia Chapter Chair Diego Cordoba will introduce President Santos, who won a Nobel Peace Prize in 2016 for his part in resolving the Colombian conflict. Santos, in conversation with Christoph von Toggenburg (YPO Zurich), will explain the importance of empowerment, connection, economic security and healing to secure a lasting peace.Hear the fascinating story of Colombia's journey to peace, which led to Santos founding the Fundacion Compaz.
